    I read stuff like this about factory work and get nervous:

    I don't want to be all bitter and stressed out working at a factory, which is the job I'm taking a test for on Wednesday. I've never had a factory job before, so I'm quite nervous. But then reading stuff like this makes me feel better:

    And I realize the latter sounds more like me. I don't really have a life outside of work, which honestly isn't too bad at the moment. And one of the things I liked about be a dishwasher was being able to zone out while doing really repetitive work and think of concepts for pieces of art. I guess I wouldn't have time to actually make any, but I bet factory work isn't so bad. My dad does it....

    Just FaceTimed my Nan and Grandad (via Mum) and despite everything going on with him, they are silly the same. So much banter :slight_smile:

    Hopefully, we'll be able to do that more often so at least when I'm not there to help out etc, I can try and raise the mood a bit.

    I don't feel so useless about the whole thing now.

    So do I. Early spring or late autumn is my favorite time. Here, the temperature is cooler, and everything is already dead (I'm looking at you, house flies) or is too busy to bother me, so taking a walk is bliss.

    Did so, although I'd probably piss my pants if I ran around at midnight. It's not exactly safe over here, either. Haha.

    After reading that, my insulin levels increased LOL. Too much carbs for me to handle >.<

    My family actually gave up white rice years ago. We switched to brown rice because it's less refined and healthier. The taste was difficult to acclimate to, since white rice tastes far better. But we got used to it, haha.

    Well getting the dogs should be easier than doing something like getting a girlfriend, you can't own people like you can own animals, that is called slavery.

    I finally broke down and got an otterbox for my phone. I figure I drop it enough to justify getting it.. also with working outside, I won't have to worry as much about it getting wet.
