What are you thinking?

One of those odd days where it's not much different than usual, and yet is strangely relaxing. Not questioning it, but need to figure how to savor these and make the mood last longer.... :lol:

 

Why do I feel so anxious? This is strange..

 

They have been opening fire for an hour or more; it's a waste of bullets and scary .

 

I have a love/hate relationship with chips (as in nachos or those you get with chips and salsa). I love them, but it seems every time I eat them, my palate gets scraped or scratched. I need to learn to chew more carefully.

 

I met this really cute girl today and was trying to get up the courage to flirt with her when I realized, oh. That's my friend's college-age big sister. Huh.

I haven't seen her in ages, which is why I didn't recognize her at first.

 

I don't start travelling for 4 hours, but I'm already tired.
I have 24+ hours of travelling when it starts.

I can't sleep on planes.
Boo!

 

Oh good, back pains back...feckin' exam!

I'm done with uni until October.

President of college is retiring so campus had cook-out in her honor. Journalism lab, we had a party for end of year.

Yeah. I'm actually kinda glad I didn't really eat this morning, haha. Made up for it.

Oh and I'm gonna be feature editor of paper next year.

 

Congrats on the position at the paper. Also, in college, my friends had the uncanny ability to find out what events were on campus that were of the "guest lecturer plus refreshments" kind or when Student Affairs was giving away free food or swag. It seems people are suckers for free* stuff (myself included).


*Technically, not free. Our tuition bill funds the budgets for these events so we deserve to get our fill :roflmao:.

The amount of selfies I have could be considered unhealthy by many as I just uploaded another one. I just see it as seeing how attractive I am...uh maybe I see tad down the narcissitic attidue.

Nah, see. This is why you have a buddy on the paper staff. They know where all the free food is, lol. I've been to poetry readings, retirement parties, etc. And more to come, especially fall term. Shortcake, pizza, burgers, chips, cookies, coffee- the works.

UGH. So grandmother's having piano lesson. Her teacher, friend of hers, we'll call this woman Sarah. Used to take piano lessons from Sarah too. There's only so much I can take of that woman and that's usually under five minutes. She's got a voice like nails on a chalkboard.

"HEYA (birth name) HOW ARE YOU DOING!!" Sarah shouts as she walks in.

I don't wanna be mean. Because maybe that's just how she is, you know? (and for the record, I don't think she had any idea I'm trans, even though at the moment, I'm lounging on the couch in shorts, my fuzzy legs sprawled out on a foot rest....)

But yeah. I used to like piano but when she's your instructor, singing along to your songs and being all "TRIPOLET, TRIPOLET, F#, AAAAAA" then that joy dies.
