Confidence goes a long way and if you're unsure - little padding and a waist cincher could do wonders.

If we knew how much effort and photoshop went into a lot of these images I'm sure we'd feel better abou t ourselves.

Agreed on photoshop, though.

 

Tiny is great, but it helps create more hippage by comparison.
Its like whipped cream and cherries on a delicious sundae.

Cinching compresses the abdomen (admittedly, changing the waist:hip ratio) but it's unhealthy when done over time. That's why almost the only time anyone wears one is with a wedding dress (and usually not then, either).

 

Gates, I'm happy for your insight - I'm admittedly not very versed in lingering effects and don't want to cause someone damage. I was just thinking in terms of the one dress and a photo moreso than an all day while out sort of deal

Actually, doing it has given me scoliosis (curvature of the spine). And while I took the practice to rare extreme--double-corsetting for hours on end, including sleeping in them--it's still detrimental to your health. I recommend strongly against it, Mia and Protege

Just FYI, my scoliosis has improved, what with the stretching and exercises I've been sticking to the last several weeks. I'm now not as lopsided as I was.

New clothes arrived today. This was one of the things in the order. Rather simple and black. But it fits. And I like it.
