Resident Evil games (PS1), the second one was the best imo. Capcom have ruined it for me now though :frowning2:

I have an Atari 2600, a Mega Drive, a PS1 and a PS3. I play all those consoles from time to time, but I usually use my PC to play games now.

With today's smartphone - we can literally bring back to life most old game consoles of past 3-decades. I myself has an NES, SNES, N64, Genesis, Playstation, Nintendo DS and PSP emulators in my phone for quick legacy gaming on the go.

I always lug my old consoles and games around with me wherever I go: my old SNES, N64, Gamecube, DS, and my most recently acquired PS2. Vintage games are really my thing, especially since I can never keep up with how expensive new consoles have been getting. I know I can pay a certain amount to have some games on Virtual Console or even get ROMs, but I still love using those old cartridges.

My most valuable and prized of these games are what I consider to be my own personal "Holy Trinity:" Chrono Trigger for SNES, which I luckily found in ye olden days of Gamestop and the people working there didn't even know what it was. Earthbound, which I got as a Christmas present from my Mom. And Super Mario RPG, which I got from my current girlfriend and instantly cemented her as being the greatest girlfriend in existence.

Holy, someone else actually played Starflight?! I played it on the Genesis. It was amazing, reading the manual and following in the Captains footsteps. An underrated game for sure.

Currently playing Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins.

Such a screwed up game but it's a taste of my childhood and I love it nearly as much as I hate it.

I've never owned any retro consoles myself, however I had friends who did! My first ever console game was even Super Mario 64. The fact that I didn't have the consoles never stopped me though. I've played Super Mario World, Chrono Trigger, Goldeneye, Sonic the Hedgehog 1-3, and i'm currently playing Earthbound.

Yeah, I've got a NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Original Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Original DS, Master System, Megadrive, Dreamcast, Original Xbox, PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP.
Don't play them as much as I should.

My family didn't have video games when I was a kid (in the 80's). I was actually somehow ignorant of their existence until high school.

I love the N64, just the way its graphics and controller are just bring me back to when I was a young child and it was Nintendo's main console. They disappeared before I was able to get my own, so I'm a firm part of the Gamecube generation, but it just had all this mystique to me because I got to play on my cousin's all the time but never got one.

I like vintage games but only if they're Nintendo. Most of their games are still fun to play and have innate value, while some Playstation games, like a lot of sports games, have fallen flat.

The NES is my favorite console from the past. It's a shame I didn't get a chance to play the better games for it as a kid though. It's amazing how much awesomeness was made with the same hardware as Super Mario Bros. over its lifespan. A lot of people think that's as good as the system could get. Here, listen to these two awesome songs

I still have my SNES, Sega Master System & Mega Drive and my PS1. And does a Gameboy Colour count?

For SNES my favorite is Yoshi's Island :eusa_danc

And I loved Super Ghouls N Ghosts. Awesome game!
But I think that's a game so sadistically difficult...I spend lots of painful hours on this... You can't save and it was so frustrating to start from the beginning again and again and again...
But after all I still love it and imo. it is one of the best games for SNES. Everyone should try it

But I also love the good old classics like Mario, Zelda and Donkey Kong...

And for PS1 I love Oddworld, Resident Evil (only played Nemesis...and haven't finished it :icon_sad:slight_smile: and Crash Bandicoot.

But for the Sega Master System I only have two games :tears:

    Definitely.

I still love games from the NES, SNES, PS1... I play them frequently on my emulators. They're some of my favorites.

I love all the old-school Mario games. For the SNES, I love Chrono Trigger, FF6, Earthbound, and many more.
