I've been passing most of the time I think because of my voice more than anything. I'm still not very confident in up close interactions though. What do you think?

Lol you reply too quick! Oddly I haven't had that hard of a time with buying booze and stuff even when passing. I do get ID'ed of course but no one questions it. Just say I look really young. Come on facial hair!

Ok this is just some picture I took a while ago (2016 or something xD) and yeah I look pretty pissed.... anyways I chose it cause back than my goal wasn't to pass* but now I'm curious. Do I look at least androgyn or something?




*If I'm not 100% wrong I took this picture cause of the new violet contact lenses I just bought or something. Would explain the weird look && eyecolor

You do look rather nonbinary to me but I can tell you're afab. I think you could potentially pass as male with a little work if that's what your goal is. Are you nb or FTM?

Main thing I can suggest just from that picture is a haircut. Do you bind?

 

Haircut already changed but is still something like a problem cause I don't wanna cut everything short (if I find a picture I'll send it too) and I'll bind as soon as the binder arrives

Ah thank you thank you! And just so you all know I've recently discovered my first wrinkle, on my forehead. So how young could I be? lol

I wonder if my sudden forehead wrinkle is related to T's effects on my skin somehow.

The funky hair and glasses gives me a very nb vibe lol. And your face is quite soft and round. Don't worry, so was mine before I started T. Actually you have similar problem areas to mine overall. Small chin, full lips, overly smooth skin. And I pass more and more every day regardless.

I can't really tell in that picture, but a lot of times glasses like that actually make it harder to pass, even if/because they are masculine glasses. If they are too big they will make your face look smaller and girlier. But like I said, I can't really tell if that is happening from that picture. It is just a common problem.

Also your eyebrows are a little fine and arched. But your hairline looks quite masculine! And your nose. And you have a somewhat prominent brow ridge.

 

xD nb is okay as well I guess and it also calms me that all of my problems seem to be rather common. I wanna start T anyways so there's hope

Problem is other glasses would make my face even rounder xD

I would say do some facial exercises and maybe have your hair in a natural color. I read on a FTM blog that it doesn't do mich good in passing.

 

Facial exercises are a pretty good idea I found some somewhere and will try them.
&& yeah the haircolor-thing.... it's pretty true I guess (also read about it), may I'll dye it dark brown again sometime when the dysphoria is strong enough.

Hmm... I don't remember reading or hearing anything about T doing that. Are you a lot older than you appear? You don't need to say your actual age if you don't want, but if you're close to 30, I would think it's not that uncommon to finally see a wrinkle or 2 start to appear.
