I think you look great, ember!

The second picture does look noticeably different, as your face in the first picture looked more feminine, but I would still say you pass in both.

Ember, I like the clothing. The only thing I can think of to help is maybe thinning up your eyebrows. The thinner they are the more feminine you will look.

As for yourself, you're a man. If that's how you look normally you're done, you did it, finished, passed the exam. If you look like that and are not 100% out, I think you're doing yourself a disservice.

I'd say you pass, but I'd concur you look young. You should consider using some product like hairspray or gel and spike up the front and down the middle a bit back as well, it'd really make you look more masculine and also make your face appear longer and less circular. Just my opinion!

Thanks, and nah I'm not out to everyone yet. Only two friends and my parents. I'm waiting a year or two to make sure it's not a phase. And I only have one-and-a-half more years at high school, so I figured I'd be completely out when I get to college because it'd be a fresh start. I'll see if I can last that long, haha.

 

Alright, but for me it'd be awkward looking like a man but going "No I'm a girl". Because you look like a man, people might think you're a transwoman.

Any suggestions on passing facially?

 

From what I can see in the pic, I'd say you already pass pretty well facially. The only thing I would say is that maybe some darker coloured glasses would help, but I'm being pretty nitpicky at that You look good

Hey everyone, I'm almost scared to ask how I pass, cause I only just recently fully accepted my transgender, and despite not being out to anyone other than my counsellor and my best friend, I've been trying to do small things that I can hide from my parents.

When I shave I have to use a lot of after-creams for razor burn, so for a long time I just never shaved and was just "content with my discontent" if you will... so when I embraced my femininity, I became really self-conscious of my shaved look. :tears:

I hate hate hate my beard shadow because my hair is really dark, but I don't know what makeup to buy... so the pics in my album are me without makeup. I didn't pluck my eyebrows until after I took those pics, so they're a bit unkempt. I'm also wearing a wig because I have a shaved head... And the clothes I got from a thrift store. Oh jeez, this all sounds so bad quality! :icon_redf

S-so how do my pics stand up? As far as tips are concerned, what should I look for in makeup to help? Maybe brand suggestions too?

 

I think you look really pretty! Aside from a tiny hint of beard shadow you actually pass pretty well imo. Your face shape is really soft and not angular, which makes it appear very feminine.

One thing which sometimes affects how well someone passes is their glasses, interestingly. "Men's" frames tend to be more rectangular and/or angled while "women's" frames are more curved and rounded off. Since your glasses literally frame your face it actually affects how feminine or masculine your face shape appears to people.

Honestly though, if I was just passing by I'd automatically assume female.

I imagined something awful by that description, and when I looked at your profile I just had to smile... You look good! What's wrong with you, girl? :lol:

I have no tips about make up and stuff, sorry, but I know youtube is full of tutorials.
I don't know much about female fashion, but the outfit is ok, doesn't look "cheap" at all, and red seems to suit you.

... And this will make passing as female way easier.
You can tame a beard, or any facial hair, before you get laser. What you can't "tame" is a squared, powerful jaw. You've been blessed by nature here,.
