I personally like your hair brown and shorter like old pics but you are definitely way more masculine now. Whether it is from aging (yea i know ive only known you a year but...) or your facial expression or what, you look very much male. And yes, not a young boy but a young man in that last picture.

Thanks. Actually, I did cut my hair since and I'll post something a bit more recent if you'd like. Funny enough that blond is just natural highlighting but it sort of depends on the lighting I have in the shot.

Like I do pass a lot of the time. But what trips me up now is situations where I have to use my voice. Sometimes people will just think I'm young. Other times, I do get ma'am'd. But funnily enough it seems to be a locational thing. When I was in California for the summer, I wasn't ma'am'd at all and same in Portland- people usually just thought I was a kid. I did, however, have a lady ask if my boyfriend was my dad.

I am getting a little better- even boyfriend is starting to hear a little difference, but still, kind of in that weird in-between phase. I've been working on using my diaphragm, so it's been helping but still got a while to go.

It's like... i know what I should sound like, what it does sound like when I speak well... but it's super inconsistent and I tend to choke up talking to people.

Recently coming to terms with being trans*, probably bigender, and expressing my female side. Just bought my first wig and female clothes, but not yet using makeup (don't know if I ever will tbh). Would love to know what y'all think to start.

More pictures are in my album too (once they're approved).

From what I can see you pass but it's hard to see you in your picture. I'm sorry. Could you upload a different one, of you were comfortable with that?

Initial results are inconclusive. Your figure is nice but missing facial profile which is a huge part of passing.

That one's a little blurry, but the dress and cardigan look like they're a really good fit! Is that the wig you got before?

Yeah I will take a better picture this weekend I think. The mirror was so dirty which caused almost all the blur in the photo, haha. This photo was just an "can't... resist... urge... to... take... photo..." moment, bad quality or not.

And yes, it sure is the wig I got!

I do have to say that what I see is a promising start.

No pressure but you do have a captive audience.

First can you make it your profile pic too so we can see larger or submit it in your album?

Second from my perspective you definitely pass. Your hairstyle is a perfect one that I can see on boys in my classroom.

However like most trans guys your age you look very young. Like a boy and not a man.

Still a definite pass at least from that small image.

Third I thank you again for the kind words. My gender therapist has known me for about 8 months now and I finally showed them (this person is agender) a picture of me as a male. The response I got was "you look totally different, the transformation is amazing".

Perhaps the day I am 100% out I'll share what I look like as a male and people will most likely be shocked. No current members of EC know what I look like as a male.

There are a lot of things I need to before I can pass, but I thought I'd post this here as a starting point. Although after about two fails taking pictures all I did was glare at the mirror...

If I saw you on the street I wouldn't look twice at you. If your hair was a little shorter or styled even differently that may even help you feel better about yourself but you definitely pass lil bro.

See I've always thought "but aren't we just justifying each other?"

In fact that's actually even better. See we KNOW each others birth sex and I'm trying to look for things that stand out as..." that's an XX person."

But like pretty much everyone I don't get that impression. I look long and hard at people who post here and I KNOW their birth sex and then make the judgement trying to look for proof of burden. I cannot find evidence to make me think that you were born female outside of me knowing.

That to me defines passing at a most base level.

Clearly people posting here have enough confidence in themselves with passing to post here.
