Decided to go back to reading The Good Soldier Svejk, written by Jaroslav Hasek, and finish it this time around. I don't know how many times I have started it, only to end up reading something else and needing to start over again.

Stephen King's Doctor Sleep. Have always been a fan of his. Even went to a talk he gave a few years ago at the University of Vermont.

I just finished The Broken Eye, book 3 of the Lightbringer Series by Brent Weeks, one of my fave authers.

Going to finish The Girl In The Spider's Web by David Lagercrantz now, then Grotesque by Natsuo Kirino. Then I'm gonna read through the Demon Cycle Series again, then maybe the Shadowhunter Series.

Just started on the the last kingdom series by Bernard Cornwell. Anyone who likes Vikings will love it! There is even a tv show based on it.

I just got through reading Simon Vs. The Homosapiens Agenda

It's so fucking good. The writing style is magnificent because when the main character got drunk. the writing style shifted to that of a drunk person.
It treats the main character's homosexuality as, well, a fact. Not something to be disputed. It was so good about that I almost forgot I was reading a LGBT book until he got outed by his blackmailer and his life went to shit for a short time.

From the little I have read about the book, this looks to be an interesting read.

It is, though I'm still in the Whitman section and Bloom's criticism is very personal bordering on obscure... hoping to gain a deeper appreciation of all the writers included. At least those I'm relatively well-versed in.

    Hi!

La Casa de Bernarda Alba(Bernarda Alba's House)

I actually had to read it for school but since it's over I could throw it and forget about it forever. However, it's a nice book and it's short. The problem I have with it is that it's a play and plays bore the hell out of me if I have to read them like a normal book, not acting it. I only have to find time to act like the 20 or 30 pages left alone in my room.

    The Graduate
Unlike La Casa de Bernarda Alba, this is a very long book. But it's interesting. Some people might find it boring. The main character is one of those characters that can't make a decision because they hesitate 24/7 and when they do it, they regret immediately. But what motivates me to keep reading is that a) the main character is played by Dustin Hoffman in the movie *heart eyes emoji* b) the movie features songs by one of my favorite bands so while I read it I listen to them and it's just magic how I experience that half a century later than people created those pieces of art c) it plays with the idea that not because you were the best student at school/college your life will be succesful and happy d) I don't know, it's just a classic north american book and it's good for improving my english

A recommendation: Ray Bradbury(my favorite author), Perks of Being A Wallflower, and if you haven't already seen the movie/know the ending, The Boy In The Striped Pajamas

Years ago, I saw a production of Casa de Bernarda Alba on television with Glenda Jackson as Bernarda. That was one C-O-L-D mother!

  13. Champion by Marie Lu - the third book in the Legend series.
I like reading YA but sometimes it feels pretty much the same, but well, I keep reading it and loving it so I guess that doesn't bother me. I'm half through, so I guess I'll be done in four days or something.
El Circulo by Sara Bergmark Elfgren and Mats Strandberg (don't know the translater) - the first book of the Circle Triology, but in Spanish!
I've read all the books before, but on Swedish (well I am Swedish, and it's also the original langues for this book) and now I've been trying it in Spanish. I'm almost finish, but it has taken me months. I'm learning Spanish in school, but I've become much better! Enough about that, but I really want to recommend the books (to read in English then). Besides it's a really good fantasy book, I can promise som lesbian love in the second book and I love the couple!

It's amazing stuff, but can also be a bit difficult to get through.

I'm rereading a book called Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
I've read the series, and I absolutely love it. Although, I hardly ever find books that I don't like.
The Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard is also a book I think people should read. My boyfriend absolutely Loved that one.

I have quite a few books -my mom asks me for books when she needs something to read- but I'll leave it at just two.
