    Uni is private proprety in Canada even if it gets some public funding.

    Under section 319, it is illegal to publicly incite hatred against people based on their colour, race, religion, ethnic origin, and sexual orientation, except where the statements made are true or are made in good faith.
    Under section 318 of the Criminal Code of Canada, it is illegal to promote genocide.

    Yep. I live in Saskatchewan and heard about it on the news yesterday!
    I was pretty pumped that he was arrested, but kind of disturbed about how they handled it very quietly and under the table. The community of friends heard about it and this is the video that was spread around (not the news one or anything)
