I don't drink beer unless it's 5$ a bottle (in a package store that is, not a bar, then it's more expensive).

But no I take pride in my booze and don't waste my brain and liver cells otherwise unless it is literally the best.

I hate beer, it does not taste good,
    and isnt stronf enough.

Instead I rather have Crown Royal, Vodka, Gin, or some thing else hard.
I like mixed drinks, Usually an energy drink mixed with hard stuff.

    Bud light is pretty good.

I love being from Wisconsin! Henceforth, my favourite beer is pretty much anything from New Glarus Brewing Company, though if we were to specify further it would be New Glarus' Fat Squirrel which is pretty much an English Ale! Outside of that I always love a Guinness

Too many stereotypes about American beers. Bud and Coors light are not the only beers.

I'll usually drink Yuengling or Sam Adams, especially cherry wheat and Octoberfest. But I prefer Captain Morgan.

I like just about anything that's so dark that you can almost write with it. Stouts and porters are my absolute favorites. There's a suburban Milwaukee microbrew called Silver Creek Porter that's terrific, and I'm fond of the old reliable Guinness stout as well.

My German grandfather worked for Schlitz for decades as well, and I'm partial to the recreation of the old recipe, which has been available for the last few years. Tastes good, and even the smell of it brings back many happy memories of my childhood, because someone was always drinking a Schlitz!

Type? Irish Red, California Common, brown ale, or stout/porter. I mostly drink microbrews, and I don't stick to a selection of favorites aside from Anchor Steam. Too much stuff to try.

I will go sober before I drink Bud, Miller, Coors, or Pabst. Though I love stout, I've only ever had one good Guinness. All the others I drank were pretty sucky.

    Great minds think alike. :eusa_danc

Browns, ambers, and reds probably top my list. I find most IPAs too bitter, porters and stouts too roasty/burnt, but these types are just right...

It's probably a tie between Samuel Smith's and Rogue Hazelnut, though.

I'm not a big beer drinker, prefer Cider. I'd much rather drink Wine though.

I don't know a lot about American beer, as we don't often get it here. For me, I like dark stuff-Guinness and dark ales, stouts, et.c.
If I want to drink lighter stuff, I'll usually pick Corona. I have a San Miguel from last night in my room, but I'm not really a fan, so it's still 3/4 full. :I

The US Army made me a beer snob. They sent me to Germany when I was 20, and I got spoiled by good beer. My all time favorite is Andechs Special Hell, made in a monastery near Munich. It is not available in the U.S. though. After that, any Helles( German style light lager) Martzen (including Ocktoberfest style), or Hefeweizen (Hefe means yeast in German, if it's not cloudy with sediment in the bottom it is NOT Hefeweizen).

I can also drink some of the microbrews available in the US, but I do not like overly hopped and bitter beers like IPA, and Pilsner (including US brands like Budweiser).

Did I earn my beer snob badge?

Hey, I'm a teacher, it's my job to inform everyone and give out homework. This one just happens to be a good assignment for adults.

Most students don't thank me for giving out homework.

I'm very picky. I only like dark beers, like Guinness Extra Stout or Yeungling Black and Tan. The only really light beer that I've tried and liked is O'Fallon's Wheach. It's really nice. I also enjoy Yeungling Lager, but I have to drink it kind of fast so it doesn't get warm.

My first beers were microbrews (Keweenaw Brewing Company, anyone?), so I started off a beer snob. Recently spending some time in Wisconsin, I have become well-acquainted with New Glarus brews. Of those, I think Two Women is my favorite (and aptly-named, I might add). Rebel Kent the First from 3 Sheeps is up there, too.

    I can't stand most beers. I'm a vodka person. (!)
