This is no joke. I wish more queer folks actually felt like we were family. That would solve a lot of problems... I happen to believe we're family. I see many of you as my brothers, sisters, and siblings in between.
Yeah, we may have our disagreements, but I think of most of the users I've meet on here as a family of sorts. I've gotten more out of people I've only known for a few months on here then I have from "family" members I've known my entire life.
^ THIS. I'm very much of the opinion that we have two families: the ones we are born with, and the ones we choose to have. It's always nice when they overlap, but that's not only the case. I've got a small group of friends that have been my support system for... wow, years. Some of them I've never met in person, which sucks, but they're amazing and caring and I don't know what I would do without them in my life. (&&&)
Love the sentiment, Sport...We are family...I've seen more caring here than virtually any where else...There are some of us for whom this is all the family we have...Indeed we're family.
