Dating someone with your same name

That sounds like an idea for a bad sitcom. But it really wouldn't matter.

 

I've had friends who have dated someone with the same name. It didn't end up being as confusing as I thought it might. Everyone got used to it pretty quickly. One of them often went by a nickname though not always.

 

I'm not sure I can think of a more ridiculously trivial reason to not be with someone.

"You like her?"

"Oh yeah, she's amazing. Drop dead gorgeous, artistic, humorous, smart, loving, caring, you name it, she's got it. Plus, I think she likes me too!"

"So... why aren't you guys dating?"

"Well, her parents happened to use the same letters in the same order when deciding upon her title, so, alas... I cannot."
