Nicknames.

I never really had any. Someone used to call me by a short form for my name, but it didn't stick.

 

My nickname is Grifondo.

 

People just call me by my family name since its unique

but sometimes i spontaneously get possessed by my antithetical alter ego who is nicknamed Kuro

 

I have had quite a few, but they don't stick. Everyone just ends up calling me D. People seem to have difficulty remembering my name.

 

from my childhood friends and former highschool classmates, they call me "Nick".
though some call me by my complete nickname "Monick".
family calls me by my real name sometimes, "Monica".
an anime/manga hobbyist comrades of mine calls me "Ma-chan or Monmon".
at college, somehow, we call ourselves by the last name.

 

My best friend calls me tp every now and then, which stands for two piece. Still have no idea when and why he decided on it, but I always pretend to get annoyed when he does it. :icon_bigg

 

My family uses some nicknames that are rooted to my birth name so I'd very much like to forget about those. But no, I don't really have any nicknames other than them. Occasionally, my friends or classmates teasingly call me 'Tomppa' or something because they know I strongly dislike that partiticular nickname. Tommitin is just fine, but Tomppa or anything that begins with Tomp- is just very highly annoying.

Kim Jong-il and Kim Jong-un are the most used ones because I do a lot of public speaking and debates on issues of politics and my authoritarian aura as well as my Korean descent and physical roundedness. Even though I've lost 20kg over the course of the last year, I still get called that name.

I also star in a lot of school musicals, so my nicknames are as follows:
Sultan, Captain, Edna, Scar, Frollo

 

Hipster

I don't know why, but people thinks that I'm hipster.

 

My mother named me Philip. But you can call me Governor.

Some of my dojo mates will occasionally call me Princess Bigmouth. That name came about because I had the loudest kiai (vocal expression of spirit) in the dojo at one point, and one Japanese Sensei said "Ahh, you little girl with big mouth!" He meant it to be a compliment, but my dojo mates thought it was hilarious.

I used to know A guy who had three. His main nickname was "bogey" as it was his second name. lol

The others were "snot" and "trout".

There was another guy I knew who was called "bucket".
