I wear glasses for moderate near-sightedness. However I may be switching to contacts soon. We'll see. I've just been wearing glasses since I was 10 and I think I look weird with out them, haha.

I wear contacts. Took a little while to get used to putting them in, but it was definitely worth it.

I put other 'cause I alternate between glasses and eye contacts everyday. I have astigmatism so they're a necessity.

Glasses, but I always lose them. Every time I take them off I forget where I put them and then can't see well enough to find them.

I've worn glasses since I was about 2 years old (yes, my eyesight was that bad!). Through a bunch of surgeries, it's been corrected to the point that I can totally function without glasses (it's wound up a severe astigmatism). but it's not that easy on my eyes, and for instance I can't use the computer easily without them, and I certainly wouldn't go out without them.

As to prior posters misplacing their glasses and not being able to see well enough to find them, thank goodness that's not me, because I misplace my glasses all the time!

This year, they gave me progressive lenses....that's how I know I'm an old man :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Contacts most of the time. Sometimes around the house I will wear my glasses. I used to just wear glasses, but it's easier with swimming/biking/running to wear contacts.

I found out I needed glasses at age 2 as well! I got bifocals at 16, so I guess that means I'm old now too! It's always an adventure when I have to get new glasses because I'm tiny, so I have to wear kid glasses and a lot of them won't accomodate bifocals.

I've always wondered, how do they give babies/toddlers glasses? I mean I can't see them going thru the normal test that we all would if we went to the eye doctor.

One of the mysteries of life for me... I'm sure its an easy answer though

For toddlers and little kids, they use picture charts. For the really little tots, they can watch how the kid's eyes move when watching a toy or following a light. I'm not so sure about babies, but I'm sure it's similar.

I've worn glasses since 2nd grade. ... I still remember that those first few pairs were "kid-friendly", ie very very hard to break. Wish I still had that kind, I'm horrible at that. Sat on them once. Tried bending the earpiece 'cause it was digging into my skin, and accidentally snapped the whole piece off. Not exactly being rich, I long ago stopped being self-conscious about walking around with duct tape on my glasses.

I have both and I wear them about the same amount almost. Glasses 60%, contacts 40% of the time maybe. It just depends on the day and how I'm feeling.

I have glasses but I don't wear them... When I will have my driver's license I'm thinking about getting contacts because I really don't like glasses. -.-

Both. There's no 'both' option, so I just put 'other.'

None. I probably will wear contacts soon so I can drive though, as my eyesight has decreased in the last couple of years I think.
