I don't think it is, I've been thinking about coming out to one of my close friends that I go to school with cos the only person that knows is my best friend from middle school but I don't see her much and I kinda want someone who's involved in my life more to know.
Hello! I am also a teenager! And! I believe it really depends on your environment. For example, I live in California, so all of my friends were totally fine when I came out. However, if you're in an unfriendly-to-gay community, it might be best to wait .
Well, I'm a bit older than 13... But I still feel in touch with my inner younger self xD How's it going?
Is 14 too young for someone to be called straight? We all know the answer. So, basically. 14 is not too young to come out. You can do it at any age, there is no restriction! I'm 16, I haven't came out yet. I'm waiting for the right moment. So it's up to you! ---------- Post added 26th Dec 2013 at 10:46 PM ----------
I think I still count as a teenager, for another year and a bit. ^ My stepsister guessed I might be gay from the moment she met me at 4 years old. It was just the way I was. I think as soon as people start learning about sex and sexuality, that's a perfectly acceptable time to come out.
I remember when I first joined the site the majority of the members were around early to mid teens. While there still are many of them I think the late teens members have started to dominate. Late teens Unite! I have a friend that was born on Hitler's birthday. Personally, I was born on the mid-annual solstice and the late annual solstice on Saturday just reminded me that nothing has happened in my life despite having that birthday. Why haven't I been attacked by a mythical creature and begun my epic adventure? Why am I not a witch? Under northern tribal legends it is supposed to be the most spiritually powerful day of the year. I'm even Native American; I have all the qualifications. All of those myths and legends are pure bullshit. >____>
