The thought (or actually doing) of everything I have to get done for my classes usually keeps me up through the night. Hell, it's 4 a.m. and I'm working on an eight page paper that is due in another day.

I am always thinking about politics and sports at night, which also keeps me up. I'm a pretty big political nerd and watch past presidential debates in full on YouTube late at night.

    Oh, and severe insomnia.

Insomnia. What seems to be a combination of physiological and psychological inability to fall asleep around the time I'd like to.

I usually don't have thoughts that keep me up, but once in a while I may be think about the future or the past. The thinks I should have done and the thinks I would like to do.

Depends on the issue of the day really. Could be schoolwork, could be my future and its prospects, my past and my mistakes, could be personal stuff like what I think of myself, could be more philosophical stuff on some nights, or much more... base issues :icon_wink

Really depends on what kind of thing is at the top of my metaphorical bulletin board I suppose

My grades. I'm not doing so well in a lot of my classes. I just don't feel like trying anymore.

Here's a new anxiety for me! I inadvertently am revamping my schools GSA with an ... Uncultured ... Girl. One of her ideas was "Bring in someone who has gone through being gay to support the gays!" I just ... Sometimes I want to hug that girl for making "For the gays!" Sound like "ForNarnia!" Sometimes I also want to go all human rights on her and tell her that you don't go through being gay, there's more than just gay an straight, and that if there are 'the gays' that means she's one of 'the straights'. Also my math binder is in my locker.

I stay up to watch American sports or tennis because of the time difference. But actually being in bed and being awake is different. I think and imagine things too much like the future near and far. Therefore, I have to shut down my brain. I also sometimes need to listen to music to go to sleep.

What a response. Yes I do believe in Isis and believe there will be somehting after this but I admit I am human and get a little shaky from time to time.

I just can't fathom what true lack of existence really is

Thanks to all who responded and also to those who feel the same as I do
