There's a wide arrange of song fails in the past few years from "Friday" by Rebecca Black,

to "Turn It Up" by Kim Kardashian,

My favorite bad song would have to be "Stupid Hoe" by Nicki Minaj.

Does Call Me Maybe count? I hate that song, but it has a good beat and I sometimes find myself dancing to it... And I kick butt on that song in Just Dance.

I love Call Me Maybe! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: Academically, it's trash. Realistically, it's fun to listen to, so it's one of my guilty pleasure songs.

The other notable example is What Makes You Beautiful by 1D. Although I think that one does have a *tiny* bit of merit as a pop song because its lyrics are surprisingly heartfelt (until the killer self-image paradox :eek:slight_smile: and it has a great energy about it. I remember hearing it for the first time and going "Wow, this song doesn't suck!" and only finding out later that it was One Direction hehe.

Yes! The lyrics and the meaning behind it is just so awful! It makes me groan every single time I heard it. It was my mom who turned me around to it. She insisted on dancing to it every time it came on. If I just focus on the beat and ignore the lyrics, it's okay.

I've never heard What Makes You Beautiful all the way through. I think I heard the title phrase sung in a commercial once, but that's it. I knew it was a poppy boy band, but I kinda liked how it sounded, anyway...

Your feet are going to be on the ground
Your head is there to move you around
If wishes were trees, the trees would be falling
Listen to reason, season is calling

Stand in the place where you live
    Now face north
    Think about direction
    Wonder why you haven't before

Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO, they might be terrible rappers with terrible lyrics with terrible gimmicks and it was terribly needed they went away, but I can't help but really like that one song from them for some reason even if I hate everything else they have done with a passion. There is something about that beat and hook lol.

Vanessa Hudgens -- Baby Come Back To Me

I mean, there's nothing really WRONG with the song, but the lyrics to me are boringly cheesy (and I could completely do without the "BABY V"). ._. Love the instrumental though. There's actually an instrumental on YT but the quality's horrible...

I'd also have to agree with Party Rock Anthem.

The Night Chicago Died by Paperlace. I don't know anyone else that likes this song, but I LOVE IT.

I must note that I am so glad I was too young to watch "Dawson's Creek" when it was on. Because "Crazy For This Girl" by one-hit-wonder Evan and Jaron pretty much describes the plot. Cute little love song, but still pretty corny.

How has this one not made the list? I can relate to it well, but it's still annoying.

^I LOVE Jam by Kim Kardashian (I love the kardashians as well :3 ) and Stupid Hoe ahah, but I wouldn't say they're bad per se....

BUT, D2B (Dick too Bomb) by Problem is probably one of my favorite songs ever. And although it isn't "bad" per se, it's "bad", ya know? Whatever, it's an amazing song tho.

The winners for my list of "favorite bad music" are all Real Housewives.

You've not lived (and hurt your ears) until you've listen to "Tardy For The Party" (Kim Zolciak) or "Money Can't Buy You Class" (Countess Luann)... And don't even get me started on Michaele Salahi's "Bump It"... These all suck hard...yet are so addicting it's crazy.

Don't know exactly why, but I always had a weakness for ratchet female rappers. (!) I can't think of any ''bad'' song I like without thinking of My Bubblegum by Rasheeda, or My Neck,My Back (Lick It) by Khia.
