I bought my cousin a bunch of random stuff from Claires, I bought my best friend/faux older sister a huge makeup thingy, 'cause she's into that stuff, I got my little sister a bright orange hat, she loves bright colours, and I got my aunt a Victoria's Secret gift card because she's saving up for a pair of those fancy sweatpants.

P.S. Does anyone else feel a little dirty when they go inside that store? Like they're being naughty or something?

Not a thing yet. I have been so busy I haven't had a chance to think about it. I have no idea what to get anyone.

Siince my Mom on Thanksgiving gave me a book called "Coming Out of Homosexuality", I thought I'd return the favor by giving her a book, called, "Mom, I'm gay."

I got books for my two friends at school. "Jonathon Strange & Mr Norrell" for the one that enjoys alternate history (and is more into reading) and "The Graveyard Book" for the other (she was in need of a good dark fantasy novel).

Well as I'm a poor student and low on money this year. I'm trying to get creative and thoughtful with the presents. I've made my dad a gift set of his favourite ale that we can't get where we live. My mums getting a cook book that she's been going crazy for for ages, and my boyfriend is getting something.... I'm unsure what yet. Possibly cuff links though

I've just been to Argentina and Brazil for the month so I've bought gifts from my travels, as it seems more meaningful.

Mum: Brazilian craft jewellery necklace (bought on Ilha Grande)
Dad: Belt made by Brazilian craftsman (bought at Ipanema Hippie Market in Rio)
Brother: Argentine poncho (bought in Buenos Aires)

For friends and extended family, I've bought various things, including jewellery, art photographs and accessories. Plus, I bought my brother a pair of Havaianas from Rio for his birthday in January.

We all exchange checks and gift certificates. In the end, we all sort of break even, so we probably shouldn't bother to exchange anything.
