Hunger Games

I read the books back in grade 6 and really liked them but in retrospect I don't know how good they really are; they're probably really standard teen fiction. I'm not sure how to feel about the movie, though. They definitely shouldn't have done the shaky camera Blaire Witch thing, though - it was way more disorienting than it needed to be.

I'll watch Catching Fire when it's released on home video, because I never go to the theater.

 

I'm hoping I get to go to a showing of it next week sometime. I've read the series a few times and hoping the movie is great.

I went to the midnight premiere last night at an IMAX and will 100% guarantee that you will not be disappointed. It followed the book well and the acting was impressive.

The movie was AMAZING. MUCH better then the first.

The second book was my least favorite, but the trailer made this movie look like it actually had good production values. The first film looked so cheap. Could've definitely been more visually impressive.

 

I really enjoyed it. Mags....gosh that was the sweetest looking old lady I've ever seen. She and Finnick were adorable. :')

 

I saw Catching Fire with my friend today. I loved it was amazing.

 

I absolutely loved Catching Fire, much better than the first one, more emotion and better action scenes!

I was mad at that when I first heard about it. My friend was talking about it and didn't give any spoiler warning. But then I read the books and realized something.

That was the easiest way to get Katniss to give up on Gale. Katniss and Peeta were meant to be together, and she had to give up the idea of Gale when she realized it could have been his weapons designs that killed Prim.

 

I read all the books years ago and forgot most of what happened, but I went to see Catching Fire the day it was released and I thought it was good!! I wasn't planning to go see it, but my family decided to go and asked if I wanted to come. I'm glad I went.

 

I. Must. See. It. Now.

I've read the books, I have my own little vision of the thing and now I want to see the movie version. Jennifer Lawrence will definitely nail Katniss once again and from the trailers and a few spoiler free reviews that I've watched, this movie is going to be just... amazing.
