so i was going through my email and i saw an email that was from and individual i didn't know with a preview line that looked like an introduction. something seemed off but I opened it thinking it was from a college recruiter or something (have gotten a lot of emails from colleges like that). However when I opened and read it I was shocked at what I found. I will copy it (minus names) below (gets a little explicit) I have no Idea what I should do. I checked and I don't have my email posted anywhere that I know of, and I was wondering if I should even ask how they got my email in the first place. I don't know anyone by their name.
Hi, Just delete it and flag it as junk. Any reply will multiply these types of messages the way wire hangers multiply in a closet!
Delete with extreme prejudice. Because I can guarantee you that you're not the only one getting this e-mail. It's generic and made to apply to the broadest common denominator. Which means it was possibly mass-mailed to a large amount of e-mail addresses pulled somewhere from the internet. Replying shows whoever sent it that yours is a real, active e-mail address, and that you're open for being spammed. Or worse, they might try to actively scam you and try to get money from you. So select it, and hit shift-delete, to get rid of it forevermore!
Yeah, it's just a spam email, just delete it and definitely don't open any attachments. Anyone ever got the spam email from 'Adriana'? A girl who claims to have talked to you on facebook. So she wants to give you a vip code to a private webshow cause she trusts you so much. :roflmao: Ha, do people really fall for these emails?!
Definitely spam. You should block the sender and delete that email. Be careful with messages like that from unknown senders.
As others said, ignore and delete. It's just usual spam. Seriously, I get so much of that it's nuts. So don't let it bug you too much~
Never heard of that happening before. :eusa_eh: I agree with everyone else. Just flag, delete, and ignore. It's just spam, nothing more most likely.
It's spam. Spam will always be like that. It's often full of formatting issues and will almost always include weird titles (Sir....Madam...) and, my personal favorite, will usually reference either enlarging your penis or some other sexual act. For once, spam about caring for your granny would be refreshing.
I deleted it, hopefully thats the last of it. however google just told me that people have been trying to hack into my old email (and failing luckily).
