What Are You Thinking?

I hate geometry class. We have to do basically a hundred problems for hw every night and the class is completely pointless. Since the beginning of the year all we have learned is a billion ways to prove triangles congruent when in real life, when you want to see if two triangles are congruent, you MEASURE them

 

Why am I just now watching the original Justice League? So many things in Justice League Unlimited are starting to make sense now.

 

I'm glad my friends (I guess I feel comfortable calling them that) are just as, if not more, awkward than I am.

 

Watching the video for Same Love does not get old. Ever.

 

Ah, my fingers are killing me. Guess that's a sign of improvement and hard work?

 

Pre-calc tomorrow should be fun. And by fun I mean terrifying.

 

Tutoring a brother of a friend in Algebra II. Don't know how this will go, this will be the first time that I will tutor solely for a midterm. I don't know if I should go over every little concept or what...

OMG, do I ever have this power. Older women (40+) LOVE me, just absolutely dote on me. Even fall in love with me. I reciprocated a couple of times, my last two exes were over 40 when I got involved with them. And yes, I think I could have had them eating out of my hand, if I was that type of person (I'm not).

Would appreciate a little more attention from younger chicks, though.

 

What is it called when you are fascinated by somebody but not in a romantic or sexual way. There are a few people in my school like that, they just strike me as... interesting.
For example, there is one girl (who I'm 93% sure is a lesbian) who goes by the name Ace, and for some reason I really want to know her. Another example, a guy, don't know his name, who has long straight bleached hair. They both stand out in the way they dress, but there are many who dress similar that I have know interest in. It's like these people are just... I don't know, but I take an interest in them, almost regard them as friends. Friends who never look at me or say a word to me (actually, a lot like my real friends) but familiar faces nonetheless.

 

The only way I even passed my Math classes in high school and college was by making them my life, basically (putting in extra hours, going for help outside of class, non-stop practice) conditioning myself to "love" it. After a while, I did start developing a respect and mild enjoyment, but had to shift my attitude towards the subject big time, first.

Of course, I usually did that around midterms, so my grades still were only average by the end, but an average grade in Math is valued more than a high one in say, History or English, for me. There's a reason so many STEM majors have lower GPAs, in general.

 

Too bored.

 

There really should be an "anal sex: you're doing it wrong" meme for all those people who have only had bad experiences and never miss a chance to tell the world how much they dislike it.

Nearly done with Christmas shopping. Ran into some good luck- had a lot more money to throw around than usual. My sisters are probably getting a boatload this year but I kind of have to admit, I love shopping for them. They're going to be all over what I got them. Two board games (they love board games, trust me. Always begging to play them and I'm pretty sure they play at least one a day). Got my ten year old sister a few books, a photography book my mom's been wanting, movies for the brother, and a gift set for my family's white elephant game. All that's left is something for my grandma, who never seems to get anything for the holidays...

 

It's 5 degrees outside and we have a foot of snow on the ground. This is the best Winter here in years.

I'm so tired. Must shower. I need to shave too, but lets be honest; that's probably not going to happen tonight.

And I made nine pounds of fudge today to ship off to loved ones.

I'm finally feeling a little more festive now, but the holidays still seem to be moving too fast.

Hmm. I was thinking something far more prophetic when I came to this thread, but it escapes me at present...
