Even worse, he was actually a pretty horrible person, and most people didn't care while he was in hospital.

Someone (whom I call my friend, but I don't really think I like the guy), has just written a poem on Facebook. He had only spoken to the deceased once or twice. I don't even do stuff like that for my own relatives' deaths, and I'd hate to have someone be sentimental for attention when I die.

I hate doing other people's laundry. Especially bed sheets.

    Eugh.

I feel like I'm the only person in the world who doesn't watch Doctor Who. .-.

I didn't watch the special. No cable/satellite and the only places I found online charged.

I feel the same way sometimes, Niko. I don't watch Dr. Who either. It just isn't my type of show

Ironically, I had seen random episodes through the years when they were on Friday late nights on my local PBS station. I even shared some years ago the awesome episode "Blink" on Facebook and got no responses, likely because few people in the US had heard of it. It's a little bizarre how popular it became. The special effects were not that great, at least compared to US sci-fi shows, but they made up for it in creativity.

Neither do I. Though on a sidenote, I was talking with someone at my LGBT* group during an icebreaker exercise once who had the impression I was the type to watch Doctor Who....

My coworker/newly-appointed supervisor, Emily, stopped to grab the sides of my torso today at work and she was walking past me. I normally like her a lot, but, out of instinct, I made some weird, violent hissing noise and glared. (She laughed.) There's only one person that has permission to grab me in such an intimate way.... >///>

This news made my day  It's good to know that his older peers were there to have his back.

Neither do I. Kept meaning to but never got around to it. I don't watch television period, no time for keeping up with a series. And if I'm trying to get into something new (like Agents of SHIELD), usually turns out to be too mediocre to hold my interest.

Really, I wish SHIELD was a better show. There's just no reason to root for the characters- they've got enough Macguffin tech to deal with whatever problem of the week comes across and only one, maybe two characters come across as interesting/likable enough to root for. And one of them was a minor character, the old protege of Coulson.

I feel physically insulted by having my father's last name at this point. My family says they're accepting, but they really don't give a shit. So fucking done with these people.

    Holy shit.

Five years ago, my uncle stole (adjusting for inflation and currency exchange) over one million dollars from my father in inheritance by lying to solicitors. I want to murder the man. My father is bankrupt and has to emigrate by the looks of things. :***:

What do I do? Should I just forget him and have no one? Or do I keep talking to him even though it hurts him?

It's alright, I don't either. I've never actually had a chance to check it out so I can't give an opinion on it. I mean it's up for consideration but I still have to get through Homestuck and a whole host of video games, TV shows, and novels before I even touch Doctor Who.
