    He was so happy to day, smiling at me and others, and looking so dapper, as always. Too bad I was too stressed about the exam to pay enough attention, which I'm sure he aced since this is his specialty. I am reminded of Schubert's Gretchen am Spinnrade:

    I've been checking it out, and I don't think I've ever heard a major film soundtrack that doesn't heavily borrow themes from Wagner, Prokofiev, Tchaikovsky, Holst etc.

    I wonder how many of the composers for films actively borrow styles, or subconsciously use existing works for ideas.

    I don't think my Randy was on Smackdown tonight wth. I mean, I was talking on the phone with my brother most of the time so wasn't really paying attention, but I know when my baby is on the screen. It would've been nice to have some RKO tonight...

    I swear I'm living with a bunch of old people. It's 10:30 here and they're bitching at me about not being loud, yet at 4; it's PERFECTLY okay for them to be so fucking roawdy that I can hear them with my headphones on (music on full volume) on the other side of the house.

    It's the fucking weekend, I'll so what I wish!

    lol this reminds me of the times I've chilled at my brother's place and we hear the people in the house attached to his banging around all the time. Like seriously wth are they doing? Moving around furniture? I like to picture them just thrashing about randomly. :lol:
