So, maybe I didn't make myself clear to my friend, since he pretty much started misgendering people at the support group right off the bat, with "Cya, man!" and "Who was that girl with the short hair?" He's a future ally, but has a bit to learn, first. What matters is that he's here and ready to learn.

  2. Nixon was a shitty dude and all, don't get me wrong, but this puts it in a bit of perspective:

Perfection. Yeah. Nixon was a shifty ass but can't deny he made a huge impact on foreign relations, especially with China.

No, really. One of my characters has a backstory that hinges on him escaping from a stay at one and I've got research, people.

That sounds like a good idea, as long as you phone the institution you want to study and get permission on honest grounds. On the other hand, if it's anything like Australia, the nurses and doctors in the psychiatric ward would be extremely hostile to the ward being treated as a curiosity for anyone but doctors and nurses-in-training and public servants.

Found my 6th grade yearbook...how embarrassing!

Wow, I'm mature...I'm throwing shade at my old teachers.

I'm practicing pharmacy calculations while listening to music on Spotify so that the studying is less painful. I can't multi-task between studying biology-related courses and listening to music though. 100% of my focus has to go toward the material in that case.

In the yearbook, I found pictures of the people who would be the seniors in my French class. I'm way too happy about this!

Edit: Oh my god, "wittle" pictures of the slightly older members of our group. So fucking cute.

I am watching this really feminine cooking show. Which means I am at really bad emotional place. I don't like eating and cooking, but I have moments like this when I feel like if I give up and be what the society and my family wants to have, I'll be happy and my life will make sense :frowning2:

I have about twenty unused cookbooks. Each one represents my desire to fit and meet the expectations of others.

Do you remember the Stepfords wives with Nicole Kidman? I am like her - I don't fit. There is a moment when she says: but they seem to be so happy! Let's try, maybe we can be like them and be happy too.

Needless to say, it doesn't work :frowning2:

Woke up at 1:30 PM. I did the same thing last weekend. Not happy! :frowning2:
