Hey Guys, I am turning 21 this weekend and now really feels like the right time to start coming out. I feel really good about it. My sisters and a couple friends know and they have all been amazing. However, the thought of coming out to my dad terrifies me! He is very Catholic, very conservative, and very anti-gay. He will DEFINITELY be mad but mostly disappointed in me if I tell him. So, what do you think? Tell him, or skip him? Do you think if I told him he would soften over time? Thanks!! All advice is much appreciated!! (*hug*)
Are you financially dependent on him? Does he pay for school or anything like that? If the answer is yes then skip him for now.
