Yeah. It was actually a gay flag (wait for the story guiz!).

A very very close friend of mine is gay and has been for many years. A few years ago we were walking around, we passed a park, where a guy was getting hit for being gay (I live in quite a rough area, it's not out of the norm).

I walked over, my friend hung back as you know, they'd probably start on him too. I asked the guy what he was doing, and he said "this kid's a faggot, just found this on him, we're gonna burn it.", and I kinda just looked at the guy for a second. I was kinda powerless. Po po wouldn't do a lot and I couldn't push them off.

I had a bit of an argument with them and it turned into a shouting match.

So; I took the flag off the guy and said "actually, that's a really good idea. Can I have a light?". The guy was really confused. I set it on fire and just said "You're right, he shouldn't need this flag, because flags represent difference. He is no different to you, except he's not scum."

I got hit in the stomach, but they left the kid alone... so yeah, moral of the story, mess with bullies heads!
