If you put your sexuality on a scale...

1... I find some pleasure in looking at women, but don't want to do anything sexual with them. Actually, I find I'm more interested in their clothes than their bodies!

 

Kinsey relies on "same sex" or "different sex". Which gets confusing with those of us that change it.

But probably the bigger issue is that it keeps the past in mind. Meaning if you've ever experimented, then you aren't a 0 or 6.

That's not the definition most people use of course, it's kind of like how everyone changes Monopoly so it has money on free parking, everyone changes Kinsey so it makes more sense.

So this scale has some of those changes built in.

I want to say 0, but there's times where I'm attracted to neither gender.

Hence why I don't just identify as gay. Lol.

But I never have interest in women, so I guess 0 unless I'm neither? Lol.

I see others who identify as Gray-A have been saying similar things. xD It's just complicated to stick sexuality on a simple scale like that, because for some, sexuality isn't that concrete.

I waiver around 4-6. I'd say 5, which is pretty accurate, but it depends on the day.

 

Definite 0. But, I agree with others here, another dimension would be useful, one that measures frequency or intensity. You see, I think I am a bit asexual in addition to being thoroughly gay. There really aren't that many guys that I'm attracted to (though there has NEVER been a woman). I think this is how I managed to stay in denial for so long.

 

For a long time, I have been feeling confused about myself... but if I had to pick a number on the scale it would be on the 2-6 range so I am obviously more interested in men.. However I am still unsure. I don't want to be attracted to women at all but I will admit there is something there.
