I was born with a penis and I will die with a penis, Don't want to be a women outside maybe a day-week to see what it's like but I'm perfectly happy with my gender and my reproductive organs(even if I can't pull back my foreskin)

I have spent a good day thinking about this...what defines 'gender'?

You see, I have a penis, I have always identified as a man therefore my gender is MALE obviously, but other than my genitals and hormones, how can I define my gender as male?

I don't like football, motor sports, motorcars, fights or fighting, guns or anything military related so in that sense I can't be identified as male.

I don't like dresses, dolls, pink, gossip, slumber parties, nails or anything fashion related, so I am not female.

I do not believe that any of the stereotypes above have anything to do with gender other than mindless stereotyping, so based on that I am genderless.

Now the next question begs the real deep thought...what role does gender REALLY play in our day to day life? Does it change how we interact with society as a whole? does it REALLY play that big of a role in our lives for it to occupy our thoughts as much as it does? Are we not all equal?

So, I am Darren and it is nice to meet you

I don't think that's right. Those traits (penis etc) show your biological sex. Gender is not sex.

Please, refrain from telling others that they are not right when their beliefs are different to yours. Feel free to add your opinions as the question was asked, but at the same time respect others

Yup. I like to think of being a cisman this way. You're a bag of crackerjack with the prize included. Some of us came off assembly without the prize and well, most people tend to expect crackerjack with a prize, go figure. Then we've got Chex mix, usually untarnished, but the occasional box comes equipped with, of all things, a crackerjack prize.

This prize, for sake of my example, can be a whistle. Something to blow on, I suppose.

Sully was not trying to infringe on a belief; he was correcting a common misconception about gender. Gender has been scientifically proven to be linked to your brains wiring, not just physical traits. I myself was born genetically and physically 50% male and 50% female; but since my brain is hard-wired to be female that makes me a woman. I don't feel comfortable having a penis, but some women do. Since dfiant stated "I have always identified as a man..." that means mentally his gender is male. The fact that he feels comfortable with the physical traits of his body is just an added bonus. He could have been born with a vagina and still felt just as much a male as he does now. If he felt that he should have been born with a penis and instead had a vagina that could lead to gender dysphoria over Mother Natures sloppiness in putting him together. Now feeling like your core being is male and not wishing to follow that genders stereotypes branches off into another topic. Human biology is far more complex than the binary beliefs that is sadly still taught in sex education.
