Are you a twink or a bear?

Same here. I dont really fit into the bear/twink stereotype. Im not thin nor am I big and im very hairy but I manscape daily. I guess im some freaky hybrid.

 

I don't really like stereotypes either but for some reason I'm okay with being a twink. :icon_bigg

 

More twink than bear, I'm slim but have body hair and a trimmed beard, not to skinny I have some muscle.


P.s. if feel dumb for having to ask but whats a bear, otter?

 

Not a dumb question, bears generally have more hair and otters less. But let's get past the size hair thing with bears, I identify with the Bear crowd because of my interest in Rodeo, Football, Hunting etc. I find more guys talking bout those things at a Bear gathering than at a a twink bar. It's more of a mindset with me. The Bear community has their own pride flag and gatherings across the country such as Spring Thaw in Seattle and Lazy Bear in northern California. The whole subculture fascinates me and I feel right at home with them. Alot of burly bears are attracted to twinks and twinks like the idea of cuddling up with a hairy chested muscled man. But that said, it comes down to the person IMO. I've dated hairless twinks and otters and Bears and cubs, and if you are an asshole, none of that matters, you won't be attractive. The opposite is true too.

I would quite like to a raccoon or a ferret.
Unfortunately I'm just a teenage guy, who, if I had to label myself as one of them, happens to be vaguely twink-ish...
Although to be honest the only stereotype of that I fit would be I'm skinny with no muscle.

 

I heard the word pup has been used before. I like that one. Let's go with pup for me.

 

This site is so opposite of everything I see down here in GA lol.. I'm a bear, love twinks..but down here, twinks hook up with twinks.. and there appears to be a limited amount that want to date a bear. Obviously, that's circumstantial. It's like that on the apps for the most part. I could always date a guy similar in stature to me, but a lot less common. Twinks here are either with other twinks or they want a muscular/masculine guy.

 

^ I'm with an otter/cub/bear... Um... Yeah, he's kinda in that region. He's not super muscular or anything, but he's very romantic, and very soft and warm and fuzzy. ^^

 

I'm definitely a bear. I like twinks, bears, guys with great abs. Intelligence and personality is what I look for most.

Idk what I am. im fairly skinny, not too muscular, and i have no chest hair at all. I have no back hair or ear hair or any other place except my face which is stubble that i shave 100% off. (or as close as I can xD)

I'm not skinny/tall/lanky enough to be a twin, but im no Bear xD

I guess I would be considered a cub, but I don't really conform myself to any of the labels.

 

I like the bear label. It gives me a sense of community within the gay world. Of course EC also gives me a sense of community.

 

I'm no longer overly like a twink, but I'm way too thin/small and haven't got nearly enough hair to be a bear. Can't I just be me?

 

I know i said i was a twink but to be honest i am quite toned just with no chest hair... So i guess i am not one reason why i said 'what they call a twink'
