    I have an obsession with hugs. One hug would make my whole day. I know it sounds weird but its true. Is anybody else like this?

    YES!

    When I want a hug it's excellent. Sometimes I just don't want anyone to touch me, but that's when I'm mad.

    My crush gave such good hugs! We were the same height with him maybe an inch taller and everything lined up perfectly! I love a perfectly aligned hug! :grin:

    Oh yes I absolutely love hugs. :slight_smile: There are so many times I've wished I could hug my friends, but most of them would probably get weirded out by it. I was hugged by my straight-crush once and it was very electrifying. :grin:

    I'm not a touchy, feely guy, so I grudgingly accept hugs. It doesn't help that I'm awkward when hugging.

    I love hugs. I think it´s a basic need in a human being.
    It´s funny how you can get spontanious hugs from people by just spreading your arms and smiling at him or her. My boyfriend showed me that when he could still stand. I was amazed. People at any age, gender and color. You should try it.

    Hugs are amazing. I hug my Teddy Bear at least a hundred times a day.

    I can't wait until I can hug a guy.

    Once, when I was walking on the street one of those free hugs people came up to me, wanted to give me a hug. My reaction: "no thanks, get away from me!"

    Love hugs! Unless a person overdoes it and hugs too much.. I always want to give a good hug to someone I like\love, it shows affection and admiration.

    Depends.

    If its just anyone, don't touch me - you are likely to pull back a bloody stump.

    If I have a partner - well I'm expecting to make up for the thousands of others I haven't touched.

    Touch is intimate to me, even a hand shake is too intimate. Though I may be dying for a hug, it has to be from my partner - only.

    My friend wanted to do a group hug with two people once. So we had one arm around each other and our other arm around this imaginary third person. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    There's been a lot of research on touch and its necessity to human health and well being. In short, we are hardwired to require touch, and when we don't get it, it affects our nervous system, immune system, and emotional health. So yes... hugs are necessary and good for just about everyone.

    That said, there are people who, for one reason or another, aren't comfortable with touch and we have to honor their wishes as well.
