Lovesong. Doesn't have romantic connotations from me, but it always makes me think of the kindness and motherly love my first therapist showed me. She showed me the good in people.
Skyfall for me. I love the instrumental diversity of the piece, and her voice just pulls everything together so nicely. Plus I have a thing for the Bond series.
I like her early stuff best, Right as Rain, Chasing Pavements. I recall she came here to Baltimore before making it big, and did some songs for the college radio station, WTMD. Amazing early takes, just her voice and a guitar. I love the simplicity, and how she can pull it off with her voice alone. Sometimes, I feel she may be becoming a bit overproduced, looking back. A great talent, though. 100% better then that Gaga woman!
Ahem....*clears throat* sings: "But I set fire to the rain, watched it pour as I touched your face..."
Skyfaaaaaallll... Let the sky faaaaaaaaallll... yeah. Love it. Need to get it. Probably will after this post. Check that. Not a probably. I will click the "Post quick reply" button and then click the "0.99" button when I search "Adele" in iTunes. I saw Skyfall just last week, and the whole opening to the thing is just brilliant. Close behind is Rolling in the Deep. EDIT: Check that, it was a "1.29" button, not a 99 cent one.
