Aaliyah: she had so much more to give. Of course, Princess Diana and Amy Winehouse are up there with her, too. I just think the fact that Aaliyah died in a plane crash at such a young age makes it so much more cold; knowing that she could have taken on Beyoncé in the long run. :frowning2:

I forgot to mention Thomas M. Disch (who wrote The Brave Little Toaster). It was my favorite animated movie growing up, and it's one of the move complex, saddest, and darkest movies I've ever seen--even for a "kid's movie".

He passed away almost eight years ago, and I only found out about it maybe three, and it messed me up so badly. I'm not sure how much of that was knowing someone who was a big part of my childhood was gone, or that it felt like he based quite a bit of TBLT on his own personal life with dealing with depression that resonates with me a lot as an adult.

I think a person a lot of people forget about, Denis Wilson is really tragic.

I mean for a start, he just drowned. Its a bit of a long story, but can be shortened to he was collecting stuff that he chucked off a boat he owned a few years ago, and well he didn't come up after trying to grab something.
I mean geez, for being the only Beach Boy that actually surfed, that's just tragic.

But to add to the tragedy of it all, think about Brian Wilson at the time, he was going through a major period of depression, and was being manipulated by "Dr" Eugene Landy, I could start going on a history lesson about it but TL: DR of it: it couldn't be a worse time for him to drown and leave Brian with an absolute psycho.

(I also don't want to spoil all of a really good movie , Go watch Love and Mercy, it was the best film I saw in 2015 and I also don't need to continue my addiction of researching musicians ehe)
