I currently teach English as a second language to adults at a small private language school in the city where I live. I'm considering moving into teaching languages in state schools, but the toxic state of education and schools in the UK at the moment is really putting me off...

I'm still in middle school but I'd like to study medicine, mathematics, science (especially biology) or psychology :3

Im an aspiring illustrator hoping to either work in the video game industry as a concept/ background artist, or maybe keep i'll it to the comic book industry. Maybe do some freelance work here or there, hopefully eventually run my own graphic novel series. Wherever art & creativity goes, i shall follow. For now though i'm in the world of Advertising, going back to school to focus specifically on illustration because ironically i've never been to an 'Art School'

For summer work, I work in a department store.

When I am at college, I study electronic media sports production and LGBT studies. I also direct morning newscasts and work at a television production facility. I work with the LGBT center on my campus as well.

I hated working at McDonald's so much :/. It was a great experience in a way, but so horrible D:

But to answer the question, right now, I'd like to go into broadcast journalism. But I've been questioning that a lot lately.

I'm in college working on my prerequisites for nursing school... but for now I'm the nurse staffing coordinator/administrative assistant for the director of nursing at a rehabilitation hospital. Also, I hate my job!!!

I'm studying Civil Engineering at the moment, and I plan to specialize in transportation systems. Ideally I'd be an international urban planning consulting engineer. Geez, that's more of a mouthful than I realized, but I'd really be happy with anything in civil engineering.

I'm a Life Sciences student at University - I'm in my first year, which is general study, but after that you get to specialise, I'm thinking either microbiology, neuroscience, human physiology or medical sciences. I'm not quite sure what I want to do yet - I'd either like to be a teacher, some kind of medical professional (I might even apply for post-graduate entry medicine if I get a first), a therapist or go into research.

If you want to do research, you should try working as a research assistant while an undergrad. It will really help you decide if that's what you want to do full-time (even if you don't get many results), and you'll gain a lot more skills than any laboratory course.

I studied pre-pharmacy in community college, graduate with an associate in science, and I'm currently in the process of applying to a couple pharmacy universities in the state.

I'm still at university, my major is Law with a minor of French literature. I hope to get a Phd and work in legal research in the future.

In summer I work as a typist.

I'm working for a congressman right now, and majoring in strategic communication and political science.

Going to grad school in a couple years for an MA in communication, and I plan to teach at the college level/get into politics.

That was my concentration within communication.

Broadcasting - and journalism in general - is more work than people realize, and you're certainly not going to get rich (internships are also a must). But it's still a really enjoyable field, especially because every day is different in journalism.

Rep. Mike Kelly. I don't always agree with him, but he's a great guy and is quite passionate.

He's got tons of staffers and a lot of offices, so hopefully EC is OK with me saying.
