Drake is a hack. Raps about how tough his life is. He is from the absolute richest part of Toronto. Grew up with every single thing you could ever want and ask in life. Also I think his music sounds like crap and he is an ass to fans.
If you mean "best" as an ambitious way of saying that he's you're favorite, I won't disagree with that. But if you really think he's the objectively best rapper out there, you have been severely underexposed to rap. I'm trying so hard to be civilized right now. Our opinions do not coincide. At all. I also kinda feel like you're trolling. Just a bit.
I'm inclined to agree. I'd be one thing to say, "Drake is the best rapper, who else loves him?" It's another to challenge us with, "Drake is the best rapper, I dare you to find someone better than him." (As if that would be difficult.)

I can't even tolerate him for this long. I don't care about his lyrics, his "voice," to me, is horrible. There is far better out there.
Ok couldn't resist, these guys are all make way better stuff than Drake and are doing it now, not early 90's. This on top of all the guys that have already been posted. as a long time rap listener, i have no respect for drake. he keeps talking about how he earned his way into the rap business, how he started from the bottom, and all this other bs when the facts say otherwise. dude had lil wayne on one of his earlier mixtapes when he started out way before his mixtape "so far gone" and "best i ever had" was all getting attention 4 years ago. unless he had some serious connections to make it happen, there's NO way you can get a rapper like lil wayne damn near at the height of his popularity to appear on your mixtape without a label clearance or paying a whole lot of money. he would have to be signed already in order to have a feature like lil wayne on his record. i remember hearing about how there were bidding wars going on with drake and who does he end up signing with, lil wayne's label, cash money, and universal records which of course makes sense. it wouldn't surprise me if he had a deal BEFORE all the whole "so far gone" crap. with that said, drake's "rise to the top" is a bunch of fabricated bs marketed towards making him popular. drake is nothing but an industry plant.
Drake is a good singer pop artist. His "rap" is by far shit, I consider Eminem closer to rap even though he is equally as shit and poppy as Drake. Decent rap needs to be dug up and is rarely available on the radio. These nerdy white guys demo Drake Eyedea & Abilities - Now - YouTube Fastest rapper I know that makes sense; is dead now though.
