That's why I never read the comments, I would rather not because they always end up making me angry.

Was that in the comments? I didn't hear anything about that, but I also read a different article.

No that is okay, if it's in a comment I see no need to read it. In every article like this someone will always comment something along those lines, I thought you meant the mother was actually reported to have said that. This should clear things up about that subject:
"Although Mathis, who was born a boy, had been deemed transgender by a psychologist at age 4, the school had barred her from using the girls’ restroom, instead offering her use of the nurse’s or teachers’ bathrooms. But setting her apart in that way, her family contended, was sure to set her up for frequent harassment and bullying, and they began homeschooling her."
    - This is from the article itself.

i wasn't asking you to. sorry. its just examples of people and their concerns....a lot of people aren't educated enough.

I mean, the one major question on everyones mind would be how can someone so young be classified as transgendered at young age?

thats one question everyone wants answered on yahoo really

LOL the comments. I found a version of it on Fox news, the comments were hilarious.

Drinking game: take a drink each time you read a comment that indicates that the writer has read nothing on transpeople ever.

Oops, sorry, that would be a beer chugging contest.

Anyway, super happy for the little girl, it's great news.

All this talk about how terrible the comments are. The worst of it?

When you can't see the correct answer, THE ANSWER THEY WANTED, because it's downvoted so many times.

This was downvoted 10 times, so far with an upvote of 3

Yay! Go, us! Basically, you go, girl, either number one or number two. It doesn't matter what the schools say, just be glad, girlfriend, that you've got your way!

Ku-dos my friend. This was pretty spot on, nice.

As for the little girl, it's inspirational that she's even getting some attention that's positive in the media. I can only hope to hear more good things in the future.
