I think--"So the person I like has the capacity to like men and women. Okay."

No problems here, if they like me, and I like them, I'm all for dating them.

Feel a lot better after reading these! I've heard so many comments about how a bisexual cant be trusted with staying with one person, or how we'll want both options at once.. I know it's bs, I'd be as loving and trustworthy in any relationship with either gender! But thank you for the reassurance that others understand this too

Of course, I would be perfectly fine with bisexual guys.

Its not like I'm not already going to be cutting everyone that tries to get their hands on him anyway. Whats another chick or two? I have plenty of knifes. ^_^

I'm glad you guys are so open-minded. What I've seen, and it depends on your age:

Out and proud, and especially militant, gay guys don't like bisexual guys. They feel that they are not open and they feel that they are gay, but won't admit it.

Closeted and low-key gay guys are fine with bisexual guys. They don't pass judgment, it seems.

You know, I disagree. I think that out and proud gay guys tend to be perfectly fine with gay guys, I believe it is a more about maturity(Which can have a connection to age, but not necessarily).

It ultimately just boils down to whether you are content and loving of who you are as a person, physically and mentally. Most gay men grow up never having any of the feelings that they have had reciprocated, feeling like their odds for finding someone to see something in them are so low that they must be perfect to have a chance. Not to mention, 90% of the people most of them loose their infatuations too in their youth are women as well. Because of these factors the idea of a bisexual man makes many of them feel like they could never be enough.

So while most reach, or will reach, a level of maturity and self-worth to overcome those arising question, the psychologically connections as to why this feelings occur are definitely there.

I've found that the reason that closeted men prefer bisexual men is because in that mindset; bisexual is closer to straight; which means it is closer to normal; which means they believe this individual will be least likely to be stereotypical and ultimately expose them.
