No. One of the characteristics of my autism is tactile defensiveness (oversensitivity to tactile sensations) which makes having gunk on my face really unpleasant.

Yes, I wear make-up every day. Well, almost. Sometimes if I'm not feeling well then I don't bother with it. But most days I do.
I can remember the first time I wore lipstick to school. I was in elementary school. I remember getting to school that morning and going to breakfast in the cafeteria. I was walking through the line getting my food when one of the lunch ladies made a comment about my lipstick. I got all embarrassed and as soon as I was out of sight, I wiped it off. I thought I was going to get in trouble by the school staff or something. LOL I was a very shy child. But thankfully I've come a long way from that shy little girl. lol

A few times, though I keep getting paranoid about my mascara smudging and making the skin under my eyes look all grey and yucky. I've tried foundation, powder, the whole lot just once in a Sephora store and marveled at how little a difference it made for so much money... so I don't buy it.

I wear it when I go out. I sometimes wear it to work. It depends if I am running late in the morning or not.

I do have to admit that I didn't realize that men wear makeup until this thread. Can someone tell me if this is common? I hope no one is offended by this comment. It wasn't meant to offend. I honestly didn't know this until now.

I wish I could... Just some eyeliner and a little base and eyeshadow. Is that too much to ask? I need to come out...

  6. I don't ever wear make up. It makes people look nice, nothing against it, just that wearing make up is not me at all.

Well, a lot of people feel that romantic and sexual attraction don't necessarily line up.

Sexual attraction refers to who you feel sexually attracted to, whereas romantic attraction refers to who you could fall in love with.

So a homoromantic bisexual would be sexually attracted to both genders but only able to fall in love with the same gender.

I love make-up, and I wear it frequently. The only things I tend to avoid are foundation and dark lipstick, I hate the feeling of foundation on my skin (although I really should wear it, I have the sort of ruddy farmer face that doesn't exactly go with the way I want to look) and my lips are not plump enough to wear dark colours well.

Blusher, eyeshadow, lipgloss, mascara, eyeliner... love it.

This!!! And also maybe some dark lipstick. I've never really had a chance to try any of it.

I wear bronzer and fake tan sometimes, wouldn't consider that makeup. I probably would if I were to open up a little more and wasn't still half in the closet.

Only subtly though, to cover up blemishes and shit.

Yes, I love makeup! I usually wear blush, eyeliner, and mascara. And sometimes eyeshadow

Usually only lightly and on occasion. Also, my parents don't agree with the whole trans thing so I don't really have the ability to get any makeup.

I voted no, but I wear it for theatre (I don't think that counts). I don't see the appeal in makeup; I love the feeling of clean skin, so I don't think I could bear a layer of whatever makeup is made everyday, it's uncomfortable enough just for a play.

Yes, I do. I just wear the basic stuff to cover up acne (foundation, powder, and blush), some eye shadow and mascara, and lip gloss. I like to wear mascara because my eyes light up more on my face.

Makeup is actually one area I have struggled with because of all the stereotypes. I live in a rather conservative community and people imply that lesbians do not ever wear makeup. Um....I wear makeup and I relate to lesbians more than straight women. Please tell me that it is a false myth that lesbians never wear makeup!

I'd definitely like to try some eye liner, or something, could make for an interesting look!

I used to put on a bit of concealer if I had a pimple or something, but I gave even that up about ten or fifteen years ago.
