What's your D&D alignment?

Alignment tests always say I'm a Chaotic Good; though I feel I lean towards Chaotic Neutral at times.

True Neutral

The world is full of idiots and it is my job to ignore them the best I can.

Lol no. Instead of ignoring idiots, I tell them that they are stupid.
I don't consider myself apathetic, though.

 

I clicked the wrong one. I put lawful evil, meant chaotic neutral.

 

I most often played neutral good characters. It felt very natural so Neutral Good. However the last time I took a test it said true neutral.

 

I'm definitely True Neutral. I took the test in college and got Chaotic Evil, but now I am neutral. I just don't care, I guess. I'm pretty indifferent toward a lot of things.

 

"Good and evil" is a defunct philosophy, in my opinion.

 

Somewhere in between chaotic good and neutral good. I'm a good person, but have a chaotic streak to me.

 

I was gonna post, but the guy above me just read my mind and I don't wanna sound like I'm copying him.

 

I'd go for Chaotic Neutral. I have some strong ethical views but most days I'm just doing my own thing, taking care of necessities.

How a category for RPG characters applies to real life depends on how much of a nerd you are*.

True neutral. And I take umbrage with your definition of neutrality. We aren't all just apathetic fence-sitters who complain about the world. Some of us actually value the balance between good and evil, law and chaos to the point that we are considered neutral because we fight for whatever side is necessary to maintain balance.

And before anyone asks the question about a world without evil, think about a world with no evil. You'll find that people are complacent when there isn't a bad guy in the world, and either nothing gets done, or good becomes a fascist master.

Same with order/chaos. Without the balance, each side gains too much power.

 

Chaotic neutral. I am cruel, and manipulative. I use people occasionally, when I need it. I do like to be the centre of attention.

 

Last time I took a D&D quiz online I got neutral evil yay for me.

Lawful Neutral. There's not really any such thing as evil, just ignorance. Order is preferable to chaos, but laws need to be fair and based in reality, I won't accept bad/harmful laws.

 

I'm playing neutral good at the moment, as I am a good cleric. But I'd like to try chaotic neutral or true neutral sometime.

 

Lawful good. I adhere to my principles, and don't deviate lightly.

 

I'm a lawful good as well. There are a few things about my personality that might make me a bit chaotic, but for the most part I stick to all the rules.
