There are a lot of manga/anime fans in EC, so I wanted to get your input. What is your most favorite of all time video game made in the boundaries of Japan???? (or Japan and U.S.) Mine would have to be...(my page gives it away) Kingdom Hearts!!! I also enjoy Bleach, Soul Eater, and Naruto. :love: :thewave: :jawdrop:
Xenoblade Chronicles is my favourite game period, so it tops this list for me. I like Zelda, Mario, Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts and Shin Megami Tensei as well, though...
I've played Xenoblade, one on the wii. I also really love Pokemon and Mario. But the Legend Of Zelda frranchise, most certainly are my favourite games
I think I might have to go with Metal Gear Solid. Such a near future depiction of our world. It gloriously shows how humanity treats itself from positions of power.
Terranigma for the Super Famicom. The story is based upon one persons effort in resurrecting the world after the Apocalypse. It also has a plot twist that I have yet to see rivaled in any other game. In all honesty it's one of the few times that I openly cried over a games ending. The US was robbed of a classic when Nintendo of America decided that Terranigmas theme was "too religious" and opted not to bring it over.
If I had to choose out of the many that there are I'd say: -Final Fantasy -Pokemon -Goemon -Moon: RPG Remix Adventure (Haven't played but I have seen a playthrough. It is amazing, IMO) -Metroid -Kirby And other series I like that like that have Japanese roots.
That game sounds really familiar to me. I actually think I may have owned it. I have to see if it was released in Australia.
If I had to pick a single one, it would be Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. The plot isn't anything special, but it actually has a surprisingly good cast of characters. The real reason to like the game, however, is the gameplay. The only game I've sunk more time into is FFXII, a game which is in my top 5. The plot is less interesting than Disgaea's and the characters are pretty boring, but I absolutely LOVE Ivalice. I've probably spent upwards of 20 hours just wandering around, exploring, and collecting loot. When I was younger I was also really into the first two generations of Pokemon, especially Pokemon Crystal, as well as Kingdom Hearts.
Final Fantasy V probably. Or XII, or X. my favourite games god I love em. Kingdom Hearts is a great series as well.
