Spooning!

I think I'd want to be the little spoon.

 

I like being the little spoon

 

With my ex and me we where the same height but I ended up being the big spoon , cause she obviously preferred being the little spoon, but Id like to experience being the little spoon now cause I feel I need someone to cuddle me.

 

I think I'd be a little spoon to be sure though, send me a bf

 

OMG I totally didn't realize what "Little spoon" and "Big spoon" meant until I read through a couple of the posts in this thread!! I thought they were referring to the amount of spooning one prefers, not the position within it!! I feel like a doofus!! :icon_redf:lol: I checked off "Big spoon" because I like to spoon a lot!! XD

Well, now that I know what the terms actually mean, I am in fact the little spoon and that is where I like to be lol. I've never actually been the big spoon. I think its because I'm always the submissive partner in relationships and it seems that usually the dominant partner is the big spoon and the submissive partner is the little spoon. At least that's been my experience.

 

Little spoon because I am really short but I don't mind being the big spoon if someone wants me too on ocassion.

Is it spooning if you lie next to each other on your backs and one of you keeps his arm around the other's neck? Or if lying on stomach and keeping your arm around the other's back? I do that with a couple of friends. It's kind of nice and doesn't feel too romantic as I'm not romantically involved with either friend.

 

Never done it before because I've never had a boyfriend but I think I'd like big spoon better.

 

I've honestly never heard of "spooning" before. I had to look it up to figure out what it was. Though no, I've never done anything like that with anyone.

 

^_^ Heh, me and my friends cuddle a lot, and though naturally plenty of them have tried to make me the "little spoon" I absolutely love being the big spoon! I tend to get overheated if we fall asleep and I'm a "little spoon" though, so I absolutely hate it. XD Heck, sometimes I'm overheated after only a minute or two of somebody spooning me...

As for the question, I have no choice in the matter unless my BF gains a foot in height. If he did it would probably mean he's not 22 and I'm in a lot of trouble!

 

I like both ways.

 

I'm usually the big spoon.

 

I usually wind up big, but I love both.

 

I'm ok with either but because I'm short and she's taller, we bend traditions a bit. xD

 

I like being the big spoon because it kind of feels like I'm protecting my girlfriend idk? She's really small so it works out welll

 

I'm 6'2", so I'm usually the big spoon.

But there are days I really hate being my size, because I just want to be able to feel someone's arms wrapped around me and to snuggle into their chest and fall asleep.
