I was making a little list of some of my favorite quotes, but then I remembered the most powerful and inspiring words I had ever heard. My favorite quote comes from The Great Dictator by Charlie Chaplin. His final speech:

I remember this thing my old math teacher used to tell me "That's the way it is" as in "There's nothing you can do but enjoy life as it is." (It's kinda hard to translate from Swedish). Anyways, I think it's a nice quote since it kinda means you should accept things as they are. Because sometimes things are as they are and it will only be harder if you fight it, not as in don't do anything about problems but more like accepting your self kinda thing. She used to tell me this when I came to her to talk about a problem. She was one of the few persons I've actually liked talking to. She was quite the wise old woman.
