I need to start working out and getting into shape. There's some ten pound weights in the hall that I can use, and have been, but I keep forgetting. I'd really like to start running again, but then I look at the temperature outside and just go "NOPE!"

    Hoping:

    A) To watch one of my library DVDs this evening in relative peace.

    2) That I can really get back into reading soon, whether it's the novel I've stopped about halfway through and/or the non-fiction book I started yesterday.

&) To seriously get on finding a job. Especially since it seems more likely that I'll find one relatively soon than my making close friends with anyone at the LGBT* center [which had been my, personal, first priority.]

Trying to figure out how I'm going to get to work this week since my car just died. Honestly considering quitting that hellhole forever.

I think there was a large piece of eggshell in my food. That would explain the crunch... :S

Thank you for y'all's input. I have not been around for Transgender people for long (in person or online) so I want to try to be as respectful as possible.

Why must people use so many exclamation points?

I've only just realised why people snickered whenever a woman mentioned that they were going to get a pearl necklace. Out of all the useless things I know, I didn't know that. Ridiculous.

Because 'pearl necklace' is slang for a guy ejaculating on a woman in order to give her the appearance of wearing a pearl necklace.

Wow. My mother was actually being reaaally cool today. She told me I looked nice and said she just felt like it was going to take her time to adjust to everything but says she thinks she will in time. OMG that felt good to hear cuz I have been stressing out about her and the mean things she has said lately <3

And Fruitfly I had to look that up XD that's sooo gross XD. I didn't need to know that either. It's just....gross.

Firstly: Yay for mothers being cool.
Secondly: Haha! I only discovered it after telling someone I thought it was really nice of them to consider giving their partner a pearl necklace, after laughing at me for a good 10 minutes they finally let me know what they meant. All I can say is each to their own, I'm sure it's an excellent low cost and 100% natural moisturiser which does the neck area a lot of good.

At least I can inform people that I was in fact not the last person in the world to still innocently believe young men were giving their partners real pearl necklaces.

I'm thinking about how marvelous the world would be if we had a few superheroes, the comic type, you know? How about a real life Iron Man, or Daredevil?
