Gaaaaahhhhh, this is so confusing! I wasn't notified of any deadlines, so I was completely caught off guard when my advisor emailed me today asking me to bring by the exchange application today since it's due Monday and she'll be gone. I didn't even know that I had to do an application to the host university... I've spent most of today figuring out how the hell Melbourne's degree plan works, and as far as I can tell, they spread out over five year master's program what we do in a four-year undergrad. So now I'm filling out my approximate course load that I want to take, and I have "graduate level" engineering classes right next to first year electives. I'm sure it'll look ridiculous to the people reading my application, and I don't even know if my engineering classes will transfer. Now I'm spending my Friday evening working on this. Things are starting to get fun.

Yay 2 weeks of freedom! But I'm afraid that I might lock myself up in my room. I don't know if me and my friends are going to hang out during the break. Everyone has a life outside of school except me...

 

I'm extremely shocked and angry at life.

I drank a lot of tea and ate far too much kimchi, but so far, I haven't noticed any effects.

I can't believe I still haven't gotten a WI driver's license, title, and registration even after three years of being (technically) a WI resident. I'm very lucky that I hadn't gotten pulled over by a cop at all since I came here.
