firefox mostly, but if I quickly need to private browse and doing it in firefox is bothersome I use chrome. It is bothersome when I am listening to music in ff or have waited a long time on a video to load.
Chrome is resource heavy. lt does seem faster at first but after it starts to gradually drain your memory, it is about as fast as FF ime. Sometimes slower. lt's just fast on startup which gives the illusion of it being lightening speed, but on startup it hasn't drained your RAM yet. Firefox is ugly and boring. Chrome is sexy...but crashes a lot. l tried Opera and just didn't like it, l might try safari next but don't know if it will flake out on me with Blackboard for some things. Chrome has been easiest with Blackboard for me.
Most of the time Firefox, and I really liked it, until a couple of months ago, when I started getting this annoying lag when playing videos on it, so I switch to IE for that. Haven't really tried Chromie or Safari yet though.
I quite like this. I would say that FF is the most reliable, but Chrome isn't unreliable. Safari tries to pretend it has something going for it by having a list of features on the download page, but it's nothing anybody would use, and even if people wanted those features, there's an extension for it in FF or Chrome. Chrome is definitely the most fun to develop in, as it supports the most new and experimental features of HTML5 and CSS3, and they're fantastic to work with. You can't rely on those though, because only Chrome users will be able to view them. That makes FF the best environment to develop in as it's more standard. I still use Chrome though, 'cause I don't really care - it's more fun, far better looking, and much quicker.
Chrome, definitely. Firefox rarely as a backup. And IE is good for learning to disable Windows components. I disable that shit so fast. xD
I have used firefox for... ehm... AGES? It just always works, and that's all I want, so no complaining here. I heard from people that chrome is good too though!
I was having horrid slowdowns when using several websites at the same time. I would be doing ebay listings and using item descriptions from another site as well as comparing prices at amazon, when on IE. Eventually my internet ground to a halt. Move to Chrome and everything magically came back to normal. IE is so last century. Chrome has some interesting and useful little features for someone doing work like mine.
Since I have a Mac for work, a PC at home and a netbook for travelling : Mac - Safari PC and Netbook - Firefox
