I already speak English and French fairly fluently, and I know some Spanish. I'd like to have a better understanding of the latter, and that would make Portuguese and Italian easier, too. However, I'm also torn between learning Spanish further and beginning a Germanic language - German, Dutch, Swedish or Norwegian (sorry Danish, your pronunciation is painful). It almost feels as if I'm cheating to learn languages coming from just one group.

Anyway, I see myself picking up one of those mentioned once I inevitably drop maths next year.

I wish my Russian was better and that I was fluent. I'd also like to learn Italian, German and Mandarin. Italian shouldn't be too hard sine I know Spanish.

I'd like to be more or less fluent in Spanish, French, Portuguese and Italian (tbh I'd just be happy with one) but I'm not dedicated enough to learn because I'd have to self teach me because there are no classes and I don't go (or want to go to) university

Ive always wanted to become fluent in Japanese. A lot of exchange students come through Vancouver and I tend to get along with them well for some reason.

Mandarin and/or Cantonese would probably be the most useful living in Vancouver though, followed by Punjabi. My job offers would probably expand expotentially , a lot of jobs in all sectors require you to speak one of these languages.
