I think I'm eternally stuck in that "baby bat" stage of my gothiness. I really like the fashion, the makeup and the hair but I'm always too nervous about expanding my fashion horizons... Also, I'm worried about looking too "feminine" with all the makeup(because I really want to wear makeup like that) but some looks like trad goth look pretty nice . Maybe once I'm more confident with myself, I'll start exploring the makeup. Don't mind me, just rambling.

Im a goth! More on the ebm/electroindustrial side though. And the europian kind, i think goths in usa are usually a bit different.

At the moment im at the worlds largest (i think) goth festival and im wondering where are all the lesbians. I only see girls with men. Oh well, i can still look :icon_wink

Growing up doesnt mean you have to become boring. Im 28, i have a steady job (4,5 years already) and im also goth, have an unconventional haircut and sleeve tattoos. Im well liked at my work place and our customers are usually a bit older but they still like me. Of course im still a tomboy/butch so i look different in that way also. But i have never actually had any problems at my job because how i look.

If growing up means that i have to give up someting that is my core being then i dont want to grow up.

You are from usa so the goths are a bit different there i think. It seems that there is certain kind of teenage rebellion associated with goths in usa. Here in Europe lots of goths are older. Usually the oldest ones are 80s goths and younger ones are maybe more into electro. The stereotype goths with white face and black lipsyick are almost non existing here.

I'm just that one emo kid. I could never pull off the Goth way of life.

I'm trying to get into Lolita though, perhaps Gothic Lolita.

I'm gonna be sad now, I really really wanted to go there! :<
By the way, I have a job which I like and I am one of the most liked workers there. People don't judge me by appearance. Not there. :3

I am considered a modern day "emo" I guess, though real emo isn't truly a culture anymore. But many goths are really attractive, and they seem like real cool people

Haha, i apparently got checked out by a couple of gay dudes at a gig. So maybe i actually look enough gay that the other gays recognise me. My own gaydar is so bad so i cant approach pretty ladies here because i dont want to be a creep. But yes, goths are the best looking people.
