Only lesbians put their hands in their pockets?

I don't put my hands in my pants pockets but I do often put them in my jacket pockets if I'm wearing one.

 

I don't do it, and I don't know many girls who do

 

It holds true for me and my friends... It takes me forever to get used to not having pockets on my school uniform when a term starts.
Don't think it holds up for society at large though...

I dont put my hands in my pockets....my gf does though when she is wearing jeans. I only put my hands in my pockets if I'm feeling nervous or awkward....or cold.

On the other hand my straight BFF puts her hands in the pockets of her hoodies ALL THE TIME.

 

I do walk around a lot with my hands in my pockets actually lol

 

Thing is, putting your hands into your jean pockets is tough; jeans tailored for girls usually have really small, tight pockets that are functionally useless. I only have one pair of jeans that I can trust enough to put my phone in from time to time, let alone casually placing my hands in. The only pants I've owned with nice roomy pockets were pretty tomboyish in design.

I don't see most females do it, but their clothes usually don't have large enough pockets, or pockets for that matter.

I mean, I can see why this is a thing. I've seen most lesbians I know with their hands in their pockets, and I hardly ever see girls that are straight doing the same.

I don't like stereotyping and the like but this is probably fairly accurate.

 

greek lesbians don't. it's rude to keep your hands in your pockets in greece.

 

Was just out with a friend - also a lesbian - and as we were waiting for a light to change so we could cross the street, noticed the way we were both standing and thought of this thread.

I stand with my hands in my pocket a lot. Walking is different, because I have to move my hands while walking. I've never really paid attention to this on others, though; maybe I should start.

 

I walked around with hands in my pocket in high school, but I think it was because I was shy. I stopped doing that years ago. I identified as bisexual in high school, and right now I'm somewhere between gay and queer.

 

I usually but them in my jacket pockets. I'm not sure why just comfortable i guess.
