Generally speaking, I'm a fan of anything that falls under the umbrellas of indie pop, indie rock, and indie electronic. My favorite genres are synthpop/electropop, dreampop, shoegaze, and drum & bass. I like classical and jazz, but don't listen to either genre very much. I can't stand the vast majority of mainstream country, hip hop, rap, R&B, and pop. My Last.fm tag cloud:

At the moment, modern folk/indie-sh. Right now I'm obsessed with Delta Ray, The Lumineers, Mumford & Sons, Snow Club, Of Monsters and Men, etc. But I love other genres as well, like country, alternative, rock, and musicals.
Mine would probably be R&B, dubstep(before it got really mainstream.. lol), techno, hardstyle, house, trance(a lot of European genres lol), country(Used to hate it but it's growing on me), indie pop, rock, punk, some rap.. and last but not least KPOP!
Pop and soft rock are pretty much the only kinds of music that I listen to, although I do listen to a bit of metal.
My favourite would have to be Pop, however, the only rap that I like is Nicki Minaj. Some R&B is okay, I guess.
I do as well. My friends play K-Pop music videos each time I visit their place for our weekly anime-watching event, and it drives me crazy. The music and the accompanying music videos take what I dislike about mainstream hip-hop, pop, rap, and R&B and dial them up to 11, with the addition of eye-searing outfits and performers who look more or less like animated plastic dolls.
pop-dance is seen as my genre (obviosuly we all like bits of all different music) most of my ipod consists of dance pop but I also really like accoustic stuff, dance, latin , r&b, rock my fav artists includes Seal Madonna Dannii Shakira Dido Jennifer Lopez Kylie Nelly Furtado Cheryl Cole

Right now my favorite sub-genres are Death Metal (Entombed, Dismember, Obituary, Death,) along with black metal bands like Burzum, Immortal, Mayhem, and Darkthrone. My favorite band of all time would have to be Opeth, though.
