timo: Have you ever thought of getting your medusa? In my opinoin only some people can pull those off, but the one's that can make it look amazing.

King: You talking normal conch or conch orbital?

frozen: what kind of job do you have?

julia: I hope you're not talking about small little cutsie tattoos hahah

I have 3 in my lobes (2 right and 1 left) and one in my left eyebrow. I want to get another one in my left cartilage. And if all goes as planned, I won't even have to take them out for my job one day!

I personally don't like piercings, I'm not even a fan of pierced ears. But if you like them I say go for it.

Medusa... No not for me. I'm not that much into upper lip piercings and even if I were, I don't think I could pull it off. I'm not even sure if I can pull off the spiderbites haha. But they do look good... I mean, look!

  6. I'm a baker, issues due to piercings by chance falling into the mixer, into the batter, then someone eats it, and sues us, then I'd get fired...hurrah! I can understand earrings per se, but industrials...? Of course, to make it easier, they just say no to all piercings. It's not even a superficial thing which is nice. Just safety wise. Oh well... better to be safe.

I don't have any piercings, and I have no intention of getting any piercings.

Aside from ear piercings on women, I don't like piercings at all, full stop. I'm just not a fan and I don't find them attractive.

I agree, but to each their own. it does not look too bad on some people, but it is just not for me.

I'm curious what religion you believe in, I've never heard of religious beliefs that don't allow body modifications. If you don't wanna answer, that's ok.

On topic: I have 3 piercings in each earlobe and I love them. :icon_bigg I used to have a nostril piercing too, but it was too annoying...

    Hey all, Original poster here!

In the time it's taken this thread to get new comments I've gotten some more decorations! Woo!

Left ear: 2 lobe, 2 cartilage (though I had to take one out...and I might not be able to put it back in...sad face), and 1 rook.
Right ear: 3 lobe, and an industrial.
And a tongue ring to make 11 piercings

I should be getting a nose done in a few months....so yay to that!

WinterSwimmer: I couldn't get any, and I quote, "as long as you(me) live under our(my parents) roof." It's totally worth the wait.

2 tattoos - 1 on my left forearm, 1 above my left breast.
8 piercings - 4 in left ear inc. 1 cartilege, 2 left ear, nose and navel.

Some popular religions object to body modifications, but it's not always something that's put into the limelight i.e. I know a lot of devout Christians with tattoos and some piercings who don't want to acknowledge that the Bible forbids marking your body because it's recognized as God's temple. I used to be a Christian and I've actually read the Bible.

I only have my ears pierced. I wanted them for years and was totally over the moon when I finally got them. I think they're great!
