When I'm feeling especially sad, I can never go wrong with Freddie.

For instance I've probably replayed this song twenty times in a row by now, lol:

When I need something to pick me up, I just listen to some U2. Especially anything from the Joshua Tree album. It is just some really good music. Cake also makes me smile.

I'm really into modern folk music lately like The Lumineers, Delta Rae, Mumford and Sons, and Monsters and Men. All really calming.

Jason Webley. He's nothing if not wonderful. This is where you can preview his music, and buy some of it. Click here. You should buy some of it, he really deserves your support.

Two Door Cinema Club is the best. Period. I also like Gobbledygook, Inní mér syngur vitleysingur, and Við spilum endalaust by Sigur Rós, very uplifting. Both of Jay Brannan's non-cover albums are amazing, too.

for my bad days, God Must Hate Me - Simple Plan, Tears Don't Fall - Bullet for my Valentine, and Crawling in the Dark - Hoobastank. and lots of Evanescence or Breaking Benjamin

for my good days, I'll listen to music from anime that I like, or some other japanese music, or Hanson (yeah, I said Hanson. Bite me) I have every single album they have ever put out including from before they were signed (minus singles cause...well...they're already on the full album). And yes, they do have more songs than just MMMBop. 10 albums to be exact, with an 11th coming out this year I do believe.

for writing inspiration (cause I write and compose my own stuff) I listen to ICEMAN. a J-pop/J-rock goup that are awesome.

My go to music when I'm upset is the album by My Chemical Romance called I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me My Love
It helps me when I'm mad, upset, frustrated, feeling creative.
In general it's just my favorite album, and it helps me a lot.

    My Chemical Romance.

This band saved my life. Which is sort of cliche to say now, you know what I mean if youre part of the fandom, but its true.

I know exactly what you mean. It sounds stupid, but looking through music videos and reading articles about frank iero, made me realize that I didn't just admire him, but I liked the idea of being him. and the more I thought about it with different scenarios, I realized I didn't just want to be some people, I wanted to be a 'true' male and identify as one. And have people see me as one. And that's when I finally admitted i was trans to myself.

Placebo for me. I've listened to them since I was 12. I don't think I'd be able to list any singular song, so many of their songs have connotations for memories/experiences for me. So yeah, I usually have a ritual Placebo routine every day. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
